After long days in the water, you deserve kicking up your feet and relaxing while Captain and crew process and vacuum-pack your daily catch. You can expect to come back to the hot tub running, an open bar and appetizer to stave over hunger while dinner is being expertly cooked by our in-house chef. Our lounge and dining area are relaxing enough for an evening in but van arrangements can also be made for guests interested in checking out the night life of Sitka.

Fishing in Sitka is unique because its location on the outer coast of Southeast Alaska provides the opportunity to specifically target multiple species in the same day. According to Alaska Fish and Game, Sitka also has the highest catch rates of king salmon (5x greater than Ketchikan and 7x greater than Juneau!). At Cast Alaska x Vonnie's Charters, there are three styles of fishing you can expect to learn: mooching for salmon, bottom-fishing for halibut, and jigging/mooching for rockfish and lingcod.
